## Audi India VR experience in depth

1. 01

    ### VR at automotive activations

Event stands can show only a few cars, in a few colours. VR can show every model, trim and feature.

It also gives visitors something to do, not just something to look at. That increases dwell time at the stand.

2. 02

    ### Ingredients of a strong automotive VR experience

The experience must be short, comfortable and clearly linked to the brand. Three to five minutes is usually enough.

A clear next step, such as booking a test drive, turns interest into action.

3. 03

    ### Building from vehicle data

Automotive VR is often built from the manufacturer's CAD data. Materials, paint and lighting are tuned to look right in the headset.

Every detail must match the brand's standards, so the brand team reviews each stage.

4. 04

    ### Running the activation

A supervised VR area, trained staff and spare headsets keep the station running smoothly. Headsets are cleaned between visitors.

Lead capture at the station helps the brand follow up with interested visitors.

5. 05

    ### Beyond the activation

VR content made for an activation can be reused in showrooms, dealer events and online. Planning for reuse lowers the cost of each future use.

Configurators and VR test drives can grow from the same assets.

6. 06

    ### Coming to this case study

Details of the experience, venue, dates and approved results will be added once confirmed with Audi India.

Until then, this page explains the format and how Culenz delivers automotive VR.

7. 07

    ### Designing for a premium audience

Premium car buyers expect precision in every detail. A VR experience for them must look polished, run smoothly and feel effortless to use.

Staff guidance matters too, because first-time VR users need a calm, confident introduction.

8. 08

    ### Measuring results

Depending on the format, we can record sessions, viewers, dwell time, leads or training scores. The measures are agreed with the client before launch.

We publish numbers on this site only when the client has approved them and their source is clear.

Where figures are still being confirmed, the case study describes the work without them.

9. 09

    ### Comfort, safety and access

Every experience is designed for first-time users. We avoid camera movement the user didn't cause and keep sessions short at busy events.

Headsets are cleaned between users, and the headset maker's age guidance is followed. Screen, dome and hologram versions serve people who prefer not to wear a headset.

Our crew briefs each visitor and stays close during the session, so everyone feels safe and confident.

10. 10

    ### Equipment and crew

Culenz supplies the cameras, headsets, projectors, hologram boxes and computers each project needs. Everything is tested together before it leaves the studio.

A trained crew sets up, runs and packs down the experience. Spare equipment travels with them, so a single fault never stops the show.

11. 11

    ### More Culenz work

Our published work includes the Republic Day Parade and Independence Day live in VR 360°. The IT Day XR Dome welcomed more than 1,00,000 visitors.

It also includes a VR ride for BMW Motorrad and an experience for Audi India. Festivals include a leading literature festival and Jashn-e-Rekhta, alongside a virtual Lotus Temple.

05 — Our process

## Delivering a project like this

Every project follows five stages: scope, capture and storyboard, real-time build, integration and rehearsal, then run and support. Each stage ends with the client's sign-off.

The client reviews the work in the headset, on screen or at the venue at every stage. Changes happen early, when they cost the least.

On the day, a Culenz crew runs the experience or the broadcast. Afterwards, the client receives recordings, reports or a handover as agreed.

1. 01

    ### Scope

We agree goals, audience, venue, devices and dated milestones, and you sign off the scope.

2. 02

    ### Capture and storyboard

We gather plans, photos or scans and build a draft for you to review in the headset or on screen.

3. 03

    ### Build

Final models, content and interactions are added and tested on the target device.

4. 04

    ### Integrate and rehearse

Hardware is wired in, and the experience is rehearsed at the venue or a mock-up.

5. 05

    ### Run and support

Our crew runs it or hands it over, followed by a review and a maintenance plan.

06 — Planning your project

## Choosing the right partner

Checklist

### Planning a similar project

- Start with the goal and the audience. A brand activation, a national broadcast and a heritage tour each need a different format and crew.
- Book a free scoping call, and we will recommend a format, a schedule and an itemised quote. If a simpler option works better, we will say so.
- Fixed dates, such as an event or launch, should be shared early. Content production usually takes longer than setup.

Checklist

### Commissioning checklist

- Who is the audience, and will they watch in a headset, on a phone or in a crowd? What should they remember or do afterwards?
- What are the fixed dates, and who signs off each stage? Clear answers keep the project on time and focused on its goal.

## Questions buyers often ask

[Back to XR Case Studies & Portfolio](https://www.culenz.com/work)

### What can a car brand show in a VR experience?

Exteriors, interiors, colours, trims, technology features, driving scenes and brand stories. Visitors can sit inside the car, open doors and explore details. The content depends on the goal of the activation and the time each visitor has.

### Can automotive VR use the manufacturer's CAD data?

Yes. We optimise CAD data for real-time use while keeping the details buyers notice, such as paint, trims and wheels. The brand team reviews every view, colour and detail before the activation goes live.

### Where can automotive VR be used besides events?

Showrooms, dealer events, malls, airports and online. The same content can run on headsets, large screens or in a browser. One investment then serves many channels over the life of a model.

### How do brands measure a VR activation?

Count sessions, capture leads at the station and track test-drive bookings afterwards. Comparing these figures with similar activations that had no VR shows the real difference the experience made to sales.
