XR and holograms for events

Culenz brings holograms, XR zones and 360° live streams to exhibitions, festivals and retail launches. Our work includes a leading literature festival, Jashn-e-Rekhta and the IT Day XR Dome.

01 — Overview

XR for event teams

Exhibitions and festivals are crowded and noisy. Stands need something that stops people walking past and gives them a reason to stay.

Holograms, XR zones and 360° streams do that. They also extend the event to people who can't attend.

Our work includes a leading literature festival, Jashn-e-Rekhta and the IT Day XR Dome.

03 — Key features

Events and retail XR in depth

  1. 01

    Holograms on the stand

A 98-inch life-size presenter greets visitors and introduces your brand. It works all day without breaks.

Product reveals in the hologram box show large or valuable products without shipping them.

  2. 02

    Managed XR zones

VR and AR stations let visitors try a product, ride a vehicle or explore a virtual world. Our crew fits headsets and guides first-time users.

Visitor flow is planned from your expected footfall, so queues stay manageable.

  3. 03

    360° live for festivals

Festival sessions and performances can be streamed or captured in 360°. Remote audiences experience the stage from anywhere.

Recordings keep reaching people long after the event ends.

  4. 04

    Virtual events

Some events run partly or fully online, with 360° streams, virtual tours and browser-based showrooms. Attendees join from any device.

Hybrid events combine a physical venue with a virtual audience.

  5. 05

    Retail AR

Customers scan a QR code and place products in their own space with WebAR. No app download is needed.

Virtual try-on works for eyewear, jewellery and accessories, in store or online.

  6. 06

    Planning lead times

Book once your dates and stand size are fixed, because content must be made and tested before load-in. Existing content can be arranged faster.

We plan delivery, setup and dismantling around the venue's schedule.

  7. 07

    Measuring event results

Count sessions, capture leads and track social shares at each station. That shows what the experience delivered.

Compare leads and enquiries with previous events to see the difference XR made.

  8. 08

    In-store experiences

Flagship stores use holograms, AR mirrors and VR corners to make visits memorable. Customers explore products and stories they can't see on the shelf.

Content can change with each season or campaign, keeping the store fresh for repeat visitors.

  9. 09

Choosing between VR, AR, holograms and 360°

Virtual reality suits deep, one-person experiences, such as a walkthrough or a training drill. Augmented reality suits phones and real spaces.

Holograms and projection reach crowds with no headset. A 360° live stream reaches people who can't attend in person.

On the scoping call, we recommend one format and explain the trade-offs. If a simpler option works better, we say so.

  10. 10

Measuring results in events and retail

Agree what success means before the project starts, such as bookings, training scores, visitor numbers or time saved. Then measure the same figure before and after.

Our experiences can log sessions, scores, leads and usage. That data sits alongside your own business figures.

A short review after launch compares results with the goal. It also shows what to change in the next phase.

  11. 11

    Languages, accessibility and comfort

Voice-over and on-screen text can be produced in English, Hindi, Arabic or the other languages your audience uses. We agree the languages at scoping.

Experiences are designed for first-time users, with clear prompts and seated options where needed. We test comfort with real users before launch.

Holograms, projection and screen versions serve people who can't or prefer not to wear a headset.

  12. 12

    Hardware, support and maintenance

Culenz can supply headsets, hologram boxes, screens, cameras and simulator stations, tested together before delivery. You can also use suitable hardware you already own.

Annual maintenance contracts cover preventive visits, repairs, spares and content updates. Response times are written into the contract.

04 — Our process

Working with events and retail teams

Every project starts with a free scoping call about your goal, audience, sites and timeline. You then receive a written scope with dated milestones and fixed deliverables.

You review the work in the headset or on site at each stage. Changes are made early, when they cost the least.

After launch, our crew runs the experience or hands it over with training. An annual maintenance contract keeps it running.

  1. 01

    Scope

We agree goals, audience, venue, devices and dated milestones, and you sign off the scope.

  2. 02

    Capture and storyboard

We gather plans, photos or scans and build a draft for you to review in the headset or on screen.

  3. 03

    Build

Final models, content and interactions are added and tested on the target device.

  4. 04

    Integrate and rehearse

Hardware is wired in, and the experience is rehearsed at the venue or a mock-up.

  5. 05

    Run and support

Our crew runs it or hands it over, followed by a review and a maintenance plan.

05 — Planning your project

Choosing the right partner

Checklist

Planning checklist for events and retail projects

  • What decision or behaviour should the experience change, and how will you measure it? A clear answer keeps the project focused.
  • Who will use it, where, and on which devices? Who on your side will review content and sign off each stage?
  • Finally, who will run and maintain it after launch? Planning that early avoids an experience that stops working after a few months.

07 — FAQs

Questions buyers often ask

How early should we book XR for an event?

Book once your dates and stand size are fixed, because content must be made and tested before load-in. Rentals with existing content can be arranged faster than custom experiences, which need production time.

What works best on a small exhibition stand?

A hologram box or one or two VR stations usually fit well on a small stand. Choose one strong experience rather than several small ones, and plan a clear next step for visitors after it.

Can Culenz staff our stand during the event?

Yes. Our crew can run the XR stations, fit headsets, guide visitors and clean equipment between sessions. Your team can then focus on conversations with visitors, buyers and partners throughout the day.

Can retail AR work without an app?

Yes. WebAR opens from a link or QR code in the phone's browser, with nothing to install. It suits packaging, store displays and campaigns where customers won't download an app.
